The Player Development Program is another approach established by the Titans Baseball Club (TBC) to foster and achieve the objective of the organization for "developing players for the next level". This has always been the goal of the TBC, to teach the game of baseball the right way and to continuously improve the fundamental baseball skills of each of their players. With the creation of the Player Development Coordinator position, the Titans are able to further encourage this concept of offering to all of their players the opportunity for continuously developing the skills of its players.
Through one-on-one instruction, small group workouts or practicing with an entire team, the specific area of baseball development or improvement can be focused upon. Players and parents are encouraged to communicate an interest in participating in this opportunity by discussing this matter directly with their manager or through e-mailing Joe Balsamo directly.
Mr. Balsamo has been involved for over 30 years in all aspects of the game of baseball from playing at the metro, high school and college level, coaching metro teams and assisting programs at both the JV and Varsity level. He participates at or has run baseball clinics and more recently, runs the Westminster Baseball Academy Fall Baseball Camps in conjunction with the Titans Baseball Club.
